The L&N Bed and Breakfast received the Guest Accommodation of the Year Award for 2015 from the Kentucky Bed and Breakfast Association at their annual conference in Wilmore KY this week (11/09/15).
Pictured here are Norris Priest and Mary Elizabeth Priest receiving the award from Brenda Guidugli President of the Kentucky Bed and Breakfast Association. The annual convention was held at the Kentucky Asbury University.
Jack and Dotty Haskins of Cincinnati Ohio spent the past weekend here at the L&N Bed and Breakfast completing a 20 day tour of Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas, and Kentucky celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary in their orginal 1932 Ford Coupe.
What made this so interesting is that 50 years ago when they got married they spent their honeymoon touring the same places they did on their anniversary in the same 1932 Ford Coupe.
The were just having a great time touring in their 1932 Ford Coupe.
We were proud that they included the L&N Bed and Breakfast on their anniversary.

Letters To Henderson Gleaner
Chatauquan impressed by Henderson
Editor: Are there times when Henderson needs a little reminder of what a great community it has? In an age when often only complaints are brought to our attention, this letter will certainly serve as a terrific testimonial of how thankful citizens of Henderson can be for their warm and welcoming hospitality.
I had the fortune of visiting Henderson for the first time in October. I portrayed one of Henderson’s most famous former citizens, Mrs. Lucy Audubon, in a Chautauqua performance for the Friends of the Henderson County Public Library.
I have traveled for several years as a Chautauquan, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with the reception I received in Henderson.
Susie Thurman of the Friends of the Library, Norris and Mary Elizabeth Priest of L&N Bed and Breakfast, Alan Gehret of the Audubon Museum, many volunteers for the Friends and the Presbyterian Church, as well as the countless residents of Henderson who came out to see “Lucy” return home, all made my stay extraordinary. There was nothing I had to ask for, no help I needed that wasn’t offered before I even asked.
I was completely overwhelmed with the kindness that was bestowed upon me during my visit. I certainly look forward to returning to Henderson soon!

Every year we enjoy the guest we have from the Evansville IN Frog Follies. This year is no different. We have a house full of guests for this regional event. Many of which have been staying at the L&N Bed and Breakfast for many years.
This event is so much fun because you see all the frog vehicles on the road all over the tri state. The event is so large that it fills up hotels not only in Evansville IN but also in Henderson KY.
